Liability insurance for air shows

This type of insurance covers claims based on damage to property or personal injury filed against the organiser by third parties.

It applies to events that are more than normal club meetings and that require official approval. These include flight events, exhibitions, sightseeing flights, competitions etc.
The following personally liable people benefit from insurance cover: Board members and members appointed by the board to carry out the event.

Damage caused by aircraft to aircraft is not covered. This damage is covered by its own liability and potentially even hull insurance.
